You can take the short walk over to the trolley and hop on for a very cheap fare and head anywhere along the Pigeon Forge Parkway. This way, you can leave your car parked at Cherokee Lodge and you won’t have to worry about it for the rest of the day! You’ll definitely appreciate not having to drive through all of the car show traffic, which means less stress for a much more enjoyable vacation!
Pigeon Forge Car Show Schedule
Car show season in the Smokies begins in early March with Chevys in the Smokies and ends in September with the annual fall rod run. Probably the most popular Pigeon Forge car show is the Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run in April, as it’s one of the largest car shows in the nation. In fact, it’s such a big deal that they do it twice a year! The Fall Rod Run in Pigeon Forge is the last hurrah for the season and also perfectly aligns with the first hints of the beautiful Smoky Mountain fall foliage!
